Palmer Receives Major Endorsements

The Elect Dorian Palmer campaign announced another major endorsement for the candidate on Monday. Running for Burke County Board of Commissioners, Palmer has already received endorsements from two state advocacy groups.

North Carolina Association of Educators expressed to Palmer, “we are pleased to announce our endorsement of your candidacy in the current election.” Tyson Rodriguez, Burke County NCAE President. Improving education in Burke has been a top priority for the campaign since announcing Palmer’s candidacy, making this endorsement that much more important.

State Employees Association of North Carolina endorsed Palmer with the strong sentiment, “One of the goals of EMPAC, the political action arm of the State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC), is to encourage SEANC members to continue their public service by running for office. Dorian Palmer, a member of SEANC District 5, is a young, energetic candidate for Burke County Commissioner who works for the Department of Public Safety. He has been active in the community and aspires to be a fresh voice for Burke County. EMPAC has voted to support his candidacy and endorse Dorian Palmer for Burke County Commissioner.” States Mark Dearmon, State Chair of EMPAC.
